Non contact optical measure
A.B.Esse has improved along the years the experience concerning non contact measure sensors and technology as well as on the involved applications, also thanks to the many years cooperation with Precitec. During the years, as a proof of this, Precitec appointed A.B.Esse as the Service Partner for Italy as therefore the only reference official and authorized point for the sales and the service inside the Italian territory, thank to the skills and technical level reach by their staff people.
The Precitec sensors of the CHRocodile series base their technology on cromatic confocal and interferometric principles, suitable for different materials for which the thickness or surface scan to get parameters like roughness is requested. In any case different light sources are available, such as white light or infrared to enlarge the range of trasparent materials that in some way can be transparent to one of the two diffent sources. The robust and easy structure permit an easy and safe integration directly inside the manufacturing process and the high speed rate (up to 70 kHz!) grants the optimal use even for in-process measurement. The very high accuracy and the nanometric resolution complete the sensor profile.

DISTANCE AND THICKNESS MEASURE, COMPACT SENSOR - NEW
The ultra compact CHRocodile C sensor with its robust and integrated design offers high precision punctual distance and thickness measurements. CHRocodile C is specially suited for industrial inline use and easily integrable into any kind of inspection machine. Thanks to its compact dimensions and excellent performance/price ratio, CHRocodile C is the ideal alternative to classical laser triangulation sensors. Frequecy up to 4kHz and output interface through ETHERNET (100 MBit) e RS422 (9600-921600 Baud).

CHROCODILE S - SE
The CHRocodile S and CHRocodile SE give the chance to operate in chromatic confocal or interferometric mode and are therefore suitable for surface, distance and thickness measurements, depending on the used probe. The maximum acquisition speed is 2 kHz (CHRocodile S) or 4 kHz (CHRocodile SE) and both sensors can be interfaced from the external using digital outputs, RS232, USB or analogic ports.
CHRocodile M4 sensor is a modular unit that can be combined with up to 4 optical probes. Suitable especially for in-process applications for its compactness and essential lay-out.
SHAFTS PROFILE MEASURE
CHROCODILE S - SE
The CHRocodile S and CHRocodile SE operating in chromatic confocal mode are particularly suitable for profile measures especially in those part not accessible by the classic tactile sensors, being the spot diameter in the range of few microns, depending on the used probe type. The maximum acquisition speed is 2 kHz (CHRocodile S) or 4 kHz (CHRocodile SE) and both sensors can be interfaced from the external using digital outputs, RS232, USB or analogic ports.
SURFACE SCAN (LINE SCAN)
The chromatic in line sensor CHRocodile CLS offers an extraordinary fast 3D measure, with 384'000 points per second and nanometric scale resolution. The robust and compact design make it suitable for easy integrations inside inspection machines within production lines, even in the harshest industrial environments. The high dynamic range and the excellent signal-to-noise make the CHRocodile CLS the best measure instrument for all materials, including polished surfaces and highly bended. As a matter the CHRocodile CLS is the best choice for very fast 3D inspections.
