Laser cutting and welding solutions
A.B.Esse has improved along the years the experience in the laser cutting and welding heads and the related applications, also thanks to the long term cooperation's relationship with Precitec.
As a proof of these gained skills and technical resources of its engineers staff, who are able to handle directly all the technical services on Precitec products, A.B.Esse has been appointed by Precitec as Service Partner for Italy, let's say the official reference company inside the country for all end-user customers.
In the last years, A.B.Esse has further improved its knowledge and went more deeply directly offering a consulting service and technical hand-on support in the laser welding and cutting field to the customers and potentials. Thanks to Precitec presence and cooperation, based also on the excellent performances and solidity of its products, A.B.Esse was successful in reaching important targets concerning strategical and high technological automotive projects. Within these applications involving laser welding and cutting, we are facing and covering as well the rising request for welding control and monitoring for which worldwide leader companies in their field, like Magneti Marelli, Delphi, Eaton, Scattolini, directly referred and, at the end with hindsight, trusted A.B.Esse.
FLAT BED LASER CUTTING (2D)
The unit is suitable to cut in an efficient and economic way thin-medium thickness materials, i.e. fusion cutting of inox steel and aluminium of maximum 5mm thickness and oxigen cut, with double-fiber laser, of steel for building of maximum 10mm thickness. Focalization lens is protected inside the cartridge by a a cover window, pressure sealed; this avoid the optics are contaminated if gas in not perfectly pure. The focalization point is adjuststable from the outer side both in horizontal and vertical direction. The LightCutter is integrated in flat bed cutting application systems and, with an average fiber laser power between 500 W and 2 kW.
The HP SSL cutting head is thought for the use in both flat bed cutting machines than in tube cutting using a fiber laser technology. The head is suitable for applications up to 6kW.
The new compact ProCutter was developed specifically for laser-based fusion cutting of thin and medium material thicknesses in the 1 µm wavelength range. With an integrated sensor system, three different designs and individual configuration options, this new development offers optimized flexibility. Via an integrated Bluetooth interface, the current system state of the Precitec ProCutter can be controlled remotely using a smartphone or tablet. At the same time, the sensor information can be individually visualized and the state of all monitored components in the cutting head is shown. This way, users are able to detect early possible fault sources in good time and take the appropriate measures.
THREE-DIMENSIONAL LASER CUTTING (3D)
The MiniCutter offers a lot of advantages especially for robot applications. It's compact, with a light weight, suitable for thin to medium thickness metal cutting in a efficient and cheap way. Its slim design grant an high accessibility even for complex shaped parts in small space. The focal position can be adjusted for the outer side both in horizontal and vertical position. The head could be adapted for integration inside compact bidimentional cutting systems. Fiber laser up to a 1 kW.
The system is the result of the Precitec long experience in laser cutting. The capacitive istantaneous distance sensor with integrated z axis adjustment (±15mm) grants an high speed quality even on complex profiles. The head is particulary reliable in time even in the harshest environments, thank to the optics and optical path sealing against external agents as dust, spatters, fumes. It is employed together with solid state lasers, both fiber than diods, and it is suitable for applications up to 4 kW.
TheYW30 can be used for laser welding applications on machine with solid state laser. Thanks to its modular shape can satisfy all the specific request and it's suitable for most applications. The full-optional production monitoring characteristics grant the best operating conditions even in completely automatic processes. The head is in fact usable together with the Precitec welding monitoring systems, like the laser path finder and the process quality monitoring. Fibra laser up to 6 kW.
The YW52 can be used for laser welding applications on machine with solid state laser. Thanks to its modular shape can satisfy all the specific request and it's suitable for most applications. The full-optional production monitoring characteristics grant the best operating conditions even in completely automatic processes. The head is in fact usable together with the Precitec welding monitoring systems, like the laser path finder and the process quality monitoring. Fiber laser up to 20 kW.
LASER WELDING QUALITY MONITORING
LWM – LASER WELDING MONITOR
It's a real time serial production monitoring unit and it is able to supply important information about the welding seam generated by the laser process. The system can check laser power, focalization position, protective gas changement but also differences in the parts. Each single welding process profile is acquired through reference values got for reflection and compared with the actual production signals. The system supplies with a real-time signal in case of differences respect to the set parameters.
YC30 - YC52
The reported welding improves the wear resistance to corrosion of a single component or just a part of it. The YC30 and YC52 represent the Precitec answer to cladding applications with solid state laser technology. Among the application fields there are: the repair welding of tools, turbit palette or mould, aeronautic structure manufacturing, automotive and tooling industries. For the powder depositing different types of nozzles are available: coaxial, four-way, off-axis. Maximum laser power 4 kW.
